  • The state of Tennessee requires that you are at least 18 years of age to get tattooed.  A valid state/military ID, a driver’s license or a passport is required to show proof of age.  

  • We do, but it’s best to call or email to make sure we have an artist available to fulfill your request.  Our hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-6pm.  We will make exceptions on day and time with an appointment if necessary.

  • No, just tattoos.

  • While the price of each tattoo varies considerably, we have a minimum of $150 to cover the setup cost and time involved in the preparation of each project.  Each artist is in charge of quoting their own prices, but it is generally $200 per hour of tattoo time for larger pieces. 

    We do offer a FREE consultation with any of our artists to discuss your idea and get a quote. 

    We also run specials from time to time and you can keep up to date with those by following us on Instagram @easttattoocollective and/or signing up for our newsletter.

    2. Choose an artist.  Feel free to look through the portfolios online or come into the studio to meet them.  If you’re still unsure, we’ll be happy to guide you to the artist best suited to your style.

    3. Come in for a FREE consultation.  Email us or call to ensure the artist you wish to speak with is available.

    4. Book an appointment and pay a deposit. It is NON-REFUNDABLE, but the deposit comes off the price of your tattoo at the time of completion.  In some cases, you may be able to get in that same day

    A $50 deposit is required for small tattoos and $100 for larger projects. The deposit goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and gives us assurance that you’re serious about showing up for your appointment.  We value our time and yours.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.  We require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment (5 days’ notice for Brandon Hanna) or you will forfeit your deposit.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

Do you take walk-ins?

No, not at this time. However, send us an email to check out availability. We typically see our clients Tuesday through Saturday.

Do you do piercings?

No, just tattoos. 

How much will my tattoo cost?

Each artist has different price points based on a minimum charge, half day or full day rate. Email us for more specific information based on the artist you book.

How do I make an appointment with a particular artist?

Email us at info@easttattoocollective.com, we will be happy to direct you to the artist with whom you would like to make an appointment.

 

What do you require to make an appointment?

Depending on the artist, we require a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to setup and hold the appointment. The deposit comes off the total cost of your tattoo at time of completion.  Taking a deposit gives us assurance that you are serious about showing up and getting tattooed.  Again, deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If you can’t make your appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice or you will forfeit the deposit. If you cancel in advance, we will roll the deposit to your new appointment. We value our time and yours. When canceling your appointment is unavoidable, please give us as much notice as possible. 

 

What happens if I miss my appointment?

While we prefer at least one weeks notice, we require 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If notice is not given and you don’t show up, you will forfeit the deposit. 

 

I sent an email, why haven’t I heard back from you?

We’re sorry, things get hectic around here! If you’re having a difficult time connecting with us, it’s always a good idea to email the studio to make sure your tattoo request form has not gotten lost.
